Cardinal Mario Grech, the Secretary General of the Vatican’s Synod of Bishops, lays out a vision for the Church, which he says is a “rainbow” synodal Church. Wow. The liberals/modernists are getting bolder in putting forth their remaking of the Church. It is a queering of the Church. It is the acceptance and embrace of LGBT.
Grech wants to move from “uniformity of thought” to “unity in difference.” Wow. That is the path to Protestantism. No more of traditional, age-old teachings of Christ and the Church. Now it is to each his own. There is room for everyone’s conflicting thought or theology.
The synodal process itself is defective. It is about a Church not from the top-down but from the bottom-up. It is not about the unchanging truths of the faith, but about adopting to the culture of the age. It is not about what God wants or intends, but about what people want.
