Men Must be Men (Under the Fig Tree Part 60)

In the design of God, men are to be holy warriors. They are heads of their families, they protect and provide for their loved ones, they raise their children in the strict discipline of the Lord, and they look to the larger Church, defending her and advancing her causes. Men are different from women, in practically everything—emotions, preferences, priorities, thought patterns, relating to people. They see things differently. They have different needs. This is perfectly normal. They are however meant to complement each other, with the man as head and the wife as helpmate. In the design of God, they become one flesh. It is necessary for a man and a woman to live out his/her calling in order to build families according to the intent of God. Now when this God-given order is disturbed, that is when things go very wrong. And the evil one knows it.
A major assault on men was the rise of radical feminism. Women began to throw off the alleged yoke of male headship, not wanting to be slaves to the home and family. They claimed that anything man could do, they also could, even better. They rejected so-called patriarchy, the “rule” of men—in the family, in society and in the Church. Now not being able to counter “convincing” feminist arguments, men began to hold back, did not defend against the attacks, did not stand for who they were (they were themselves probably not fully aware). They did not want conflict with the wife or with the office co-worker. They became silent. Ultimately they were feminized. They lost their warrior instinct.
The evil one was not done. And so we saw the rise of LGBT. Since feminists had successfully erased the differences between men and women, men and women could now take on the persona of the opposite sex. And so they did, in great numbers. Being gay was no longer considered a psychological aberration, but as perfectly normal. But again, it does not stop there. In just the last few years, transgenderism (the T in LGBT) has thundered into the scene, making a tremendous impact on society. Unlike homosexuality where men claim to be attracted to their same sex, here men claim that they are the opposite sex! And kids are being groomed at very young ages to accept that they are not what they are, and end up mutilating themselves in order to become the opposite sex. Transgenderism today is not a fringe movement, but mainstream. And gaining greater momentum. They have the support of the medical profession, of psychiatrists, of secular employers, of governments, of the UN. Their influence on society is tremendous. And those who oppose them are cast out, cancelled, even arrested and put in prison. Satan is entitled to his diabolical sneer.
The Church has not escaped without fault. By and large, her leaders have failed to stand for the rightful status of men. Have you heard a priest preach about the headship of the man in the family? Do you rather hear about the need for female priests? With the rise of liberalism and progressivism in the Church, there has been a focus on relationships among persons as against one’s relationship with God. There is an emphasis on love of neighbor but at times at the expense of the love of God. It of course should be both. But the love and primacy of God are always first and foremost. God first, then everything else follows. So the stance of the Church has focused on love of neighbor, and in this, the primary virtue is being nice and kind, in not being offensive. It takes on the buzz words of accompaniment and acceptance and diversity. Do not speak of someone’s sin because it is hurting. Let gay couples be blessed by a priest. If you are gay you were born that way. There is no call to heroic living. Especially for men who are to be warriors. In the life of the Church, while there is much room for Christian martyrdom where one willingly allows himself to be mangled by wild beasts in the arena, there is also the call to be a Spartacus who rises in rebellion against the mighty Roman Empire, resulting in much shedding of blood. The Crusades, though there can be some criticism of aspects of it, was about holy warriors fighting in order to recover the Holy Land, standing for what belongs to Christ and his Church. The life of a Christian man is not just about acceptance of suffering and persecution, but of embracing the cross of Christ, which at times necessitates standing strong in defense of the faith. The Christian man is not a wimp but a warrior.
What does it mean for men today?
We stand for who we are—providers, protectors, priests, prophets. We are unapologetic. The way of the Church from the time of Christ has been patriarchial. It is the only right way (certainly not synodal).
While we must be nice and kind to all, it cannot be at the expense of truth, justice and righteousness. If these are violated, then we must speak up, forcefully. We do not allow the liberals and aberrant sex ideologues to dictate the agenda in society.
We oppose the new world order being imposed by faceless global elites who plot to control our lives. The digital ID is already very much within the purview of the rule of 666.
We speak prophetically in our Church, even challenging the hierarchs when they speak falsehoods or heresies.
We go out on mission to proclaim Christ and the salvation he has brought.
The situation in the Church, society and the world can be turned around. But we must go back to the design of God, especially regarding the role of men. Men must stand and be counted. They must engage in combat, being at the forefront of the greatest spiritual war ever.
HO-WA!
We always look to our Lady of Victory, our Blessed Mother Mary who is co- Redemptrix to her Son Jesus. She too is a holy warriors.
SALVE REGINA.
