THE WORLD AT AN END #320 -- Mary is Co-Redemptrix

Here is my response to the Vatican’s saying Mary is not co-Redemptrix. This title has been accepted since time immemorial, and the Vatican has no authority from preventing anyone from using it.

The modernist, heretical, protestantizing Vatican hierarchy may claim this, but we conservatives and traditionals claim otherwise.

MARY IS CO-REDEMPTRIX

Mary’s role as co-Redemptrix has long been recognized in the Church, since the 14 th

century. Today the Vatican rejects this title. Not that the title is theologically wrong, but

that it is “inappropriate” and “theologically unhelpful.” This exposes the hand of

modernists in the Church. They see such upgrading of Mary’s role as an obstacle to

ecumenical dialogue. They are less concerned about truth than protestantizing our

Church in order to promote unity.

And talking of modernists, this document is signed by the Prefect of the Dicastery for

the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez, who is a pervert. A

polluted mind, thus a polluted product.

Why is Mary co-Redemptrix? Jesus of course is the only Redeemer, but there are

those who participate very intimately in his role, to deserve recognition as such.

Redemption is all about spiritual war that finds its culmination on the cross of Calvary.

There Jesus by his death, and subsequent resurrection, defeated Satan.

In this spiritual war, Jesus and Satan were not the only protagonists. There was also

Mary. When war broke out in heaven, the red dragon was waiting to devour the child of

the woman. He was destined to rule all the nations. The dragon failed and instead was

thrown out of heaven. He continued to pursue the mother and her child.

Then in the garden of Eden, after the serpent caused Eve’s and Adam’s fall, God

confronted the three protagonists and punished them. God affirmed the eternal enmity

between the woman and child and the serpent. God put enmity between the woman and

the serpent, and between their offsprings. The serpent’s offsprings would strike at their

feet, while they would strike at its head. To strike at the head would cause a fatal blow.

This prophecy finds fulfillment at the cross of Calvary.

And so Mary was very much involved in the spiritual war between Jesus and Satan.

She in fact was at the forefront. She in fact was the object of enmity by Satan. She in

fact together with Jesus crushed the head of the serpent.

Thus Mary, together with Jesus, defeated Satan and was an intimate part of winning

salvation by Jesus for all. She is thus co-Redemptrix.

By the way, whatever happened to synodality? Why are there no synodal discussions

on Mary as co-Redemptrix?
