Today’s gospel: Mark 13:24-32
Jesus will come again, but no one knows when except the Father (v.32). However, Jesus did give us signs of his impending coming. There will be wars, calamities, persecution. But these have happened before through the years. Well, other signs indicated by Jesus are happening much more today. Among these are:
Many will be led into sin.
The Church is losing Catholics by the day.
Many are being led by Satan deeper into sin, especially through social media, with Church pastors being compliant.
Many false prophets will arise.
Many false religions are pushing their agenda. Even Satan is out in the open.
There are many isms that pervade people’s lives, such as secularism, humanism, liberalism, wokeism, transgenderism, modernism.
Many hierarchs are no longer proclaiming Christ and the authentic gospel, but a liberal modernist gospel.
Even the Pope has given many heretical teachings.
There will be an increase in evildoing.
The darkness of sin and evil has deepened.
Many abominations not seen before have become common, such as Satanism and transgenderism.
Abortion is being pushed aggressively, including by Christians (especially in the West), and even presented ironically as healthcare.
The Church has been infiltrated by the smoke of Satan, a false church is rising, and Rome is becoming the seat of the antichrist (as told by Our Lady of La Salette in 1846).
Jesus tells us to learn a lesson from the fig tree, when we know that summer is near (v.28). Then he says, “In the same way, when you see these things happening, know that he is near, at the gates.” (v.29). Jesus is near. We are in the end times. Be prepared.
