Now the Russian Orthodox Church has weighed in on Fiducia Supplicans, saying it damages ecumenical relations. Metropolitan Hilarion says we should not hope for any reunion between Catholics and the Orthodox following this.


The Orthodox Church has been quite orthodox in its faith and theology, while the Catholic Church under Pope Francis has become more and more heterodox and heretical.


It is best if the Orthodox Church keeps its distance from the Catholic Church as the latter is right now, lest it be tainted by liberalism, modernism, leftism and heresy.
