Still wondering why Pope Francis is silent about the Olympics opening ceremony where transgenders and drag queens mocked the Last Supper? Well, he just went out of his way to personally visit a pro-LGBT nun who regularly brings transgender groups to papal audiences. He also has provided them money in the past.

Pope Francis is supportive of LGBT (note that the “T” stands for transgender), and insists that trans people must be accepted. Last November, he approved a document that argued that trans individuals can be godparents, in contradiction to Catholic morality and Canon Law.
