Pope Francis met with youth in Singapore and told them some falsehoods.
(1) That all faiths lead to God. That all religions are paths to reach God.
Wrong. There is only one true faith, and that is Christianity. Some other religions not only will not lead one to the true God, but are demonic in nature and leads one to the Devil.
(2) That since God is God for all, then we are all children of God.
Wrong. We are all creatures of God, but only those who do the will of the one true God are considered part of the family of Jesus and thus children of God. The Father of course wants all to come to Him, but they have to decide to want the same and act on it.
(3) That if you start to fight saying my religion is more important or more true than yours, then where will that lead us?
Where that will lead us is to the one true faith. This is evangelization and proselytism (that is, making converts to the faith). We do not have to be antagonistic but in charity we must speak the truth, which is what sets people free, including from their false religions.Â
What the Pope is teaching is religious indifferentism, which is contrary to the essence of the one true Christian faith.
