Pope Leo XIV walks back the modernist and heterodox advances made under Pope Francis with regard to the Church in the Amazon. First, the focus is back to Christ, which focus had often been blurred under the previous papacy. Second, he is not allowing rites featuring elements of local pagan culture woven into the liturgy. So good riddance to the pachamama.


There is still the care for our common home, but not emphasizing climate oriented actions, which oftentimes aligned with pro-abortion climate accords.
