THE WORLD AT AN END #298 -- Vatican II reforms a failed reckless experiment

I grew up with the traditional Latin Mass in my youth, even acting as altar server to Jesuit priests in my first year at high school at the Ateneo. Then I lost my way, and when I found my way back, it was already post-Vatican II. The novus ordo Mass had become the norm. Later after my conversion and renewal, I grew in faith under the Vatican II Church. I just took what was there and did not question things.
But later, as a renewed Catholic, I began to realize some things were not quite right. This reached its peak with the pontificate of Pope Francis. The Church took on modernist teachings, possibly triggered by Vatican II. Part of it was the desire to attune more to the world. Part of it was the desire to be more in line with Protestantism, in the spirit of ecumenism. Both led to downplaying tradition.
Now here we are. Read one bishop’s analysis of how things are in our Church.
It is time to get back to authentic Catholicism.
