THE WORLD AT AN END #306 -- Pope Leo on seamless garment

Pope Leo invites pro-abortion Schwarzenegger to Vatican conference on climate. Anyone can be invited to a climate conference if that person has the credentials, but not to a Vatican conference if he is pro-abortion.
This shows Pope Leo’s posture on the seamless garment aspect of being pro-life. This theory says that to be pro-life is not only to be anti-abortion but also to be pro-poor, climate change, etc. That is true, but abortion is the greatest issue, which trumps all other life issues.
His posture explains why the Pope does not comment on the controversy in the US Church about Cardinal Cupich giving a Lifetime Achievement Award to Senator Durbin, who is all-out pro-abortion. The Pope claims he does not know much about the issue. This is a lame excuse, since the American Church looms large and this issue has been in the news for many days, in fact drawing the objections to the award by 8 US bishops.
Pope Leo is certainly not pro-abortion, but it seems he ranks abortion on the same level as the liberal values of social justice, LGBT, inclusivity, etc. The seamless garment theory is wrong.
