I guess I am not pro-life. That is, according to Pope Leo XIV, who says one who is anti-abortion but pro-death penalty is not pro-life. Pope Leo has failed to see the greater gravity of the murder of innocent unborn children over the death penalty for those who have committed heinous crimes. Spoken like a true liberal and modernist.

Well, Pope Leo has Pope Francis to back him up. I have the perennial teaching of our Church to back me up, including great saints and doctors of the Church such as Thomas Aquinas, Alphonsus Liguori and John Henry Newman. Popes too are on my side, like popes Innocent I, Pius V, Pius X.

By the way, Sen Durbin declined the Lifetime Award from Cardinal Cupich in the US. He has more sense or sensitivity than Cupich and even perhaps the pope.
