THE WORLD AT AN END #312 -- Pope Leo on traditional family values

Pope Leo decried the decline in birth rates across Europe and called for greater support for traditional families and family values. That is great!
But there is a disconnect. Such support of traditional families and family values must be all-out, unqualified, unequivocal, founded on biblical and moral truth. It cannot cede an inch to those who in effect work for the weakening of family values or even the destruction of the traditional family.
For example, Catholic hierarchs including the Pope have the following erroneous views:
* Same-sex couples can be blessed by priests.
* Abortion and handling of migrants are on the same level when it comes to determining if one is pro-life or not.
* An LGBT pilgrimage is allowed at the Vatican, with its participants with their usual banners and costumes extolling their diabolical lifestyle.
* High-profile pro-LGBTs such as Fr James Martin are often given publicly publicized one-to-one meetings with the Pope, which Fr Martin then uses as confirmation of the LGBT lifestyle.
* Pope Leo gives pro-abort Arnold Schwarzenegger a prominent role in a Vatican climate conference.
* Pope Leo finds nothing wrong in giving US Senator Durbin being given a Lifetime Achievement Award, which award was publicly opposed by at least 8 US bishops.
All the above, and more, is why pro-aborts and pro-LGBTs are not concerned about the Pope’s pronouncements about traditional families and family values. They just continue with their assault on the family.
